The use of transformer-based language models in artificial intelligence (AI) has increased adoption various industries and led to significant productivity advancements business operations. This article explores how these can be used augment human innovation teams the new product development process, allowing for larger problem solution spaces explored ultimately leading higher performance. proposes AI-augmented double diamond framework structure exploration assist (NPD) tasks, such as text summarization, sentiment analysis, idea generation.
